These multiplication worksheets use arrays to help teach the commutative property of multiplication and how to write out multiplication equations. The student will be given an array and asked to write out a multiplication equation and then using the commutative property of multiplication, find an equivalent multiplication equation. You may select the range of rows and columns used for the arrays. These multiplication worksheets are appropriate for 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade.
This estimation worksheet will produce 3 digit multiplication problems with rounding guides for the students to solve the products. The students will round and rewrite the numbers in the place holder to the right of each problem. You may also instruct the students to solve the actual problems so they can compare the actual to the estimated solutions. You may select to have the first problem worked out as an example.
Without thorough mastery of the addition facts, kids struggle as they start to tackle subtraction, word problems, and problems with bigger numbers. They use so much of their working memory on simple calculations that they have little brain space left for understanding new concepts.
